Sinnissippi Centers is looking for a full-time Supported Employment Supervisor to join our team! We are expanding our services along with the Illinois CCBHC program to ensure access to coordinated and comprehensive behavioral health care and our commitment to person-centered treatment. The Supported Employment Supervisor manages and delivers evidence-based supported employment services to all adult individuals receiving behavioral health services from SCI. We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team and help us develop and implement this new program and service to Sinnissippi Centers!

The Supported Employment Supervisor also assists clients in identifying and achieving their employment goals, based on the clients' interests and preferences. The Supported Employment Supervisor provides services through all phases of employment, including resume building, preparing for job interviewing, and sustaining employment through the provision of follow-along supports.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Advocates for employment of all adult individuals receiving behavioral health services from SCI through direct contacts with employers, service organizations, and professional associations.
  • Works directly with local employers when seeking employment for clients. Contacts employers regarding vacancies and positions.
  • Works cooperatively with employers, treatment teams, and supervisor to ensure that services are provided as outlined in treatment plan.
  • Provides relevant clinical support including medication management, functional support services, crisis intervention services, and other appropriate services which would support the needs of the client.
  • Provides education and consultation to staff on the team, other agencies or community groups when requested.
  • Responsible for providing the day to day supports needed by the people receiving services to accomplish their stated goals, documenting the supports provided, attending to the medical, health, safety and training needs of the individuals' receiving services, and providing transportation as arranged.
  • Develop appropriate job opportunities for selected candidates, arranges for follow-up, retraining, or ongoing support for people receiving services.
  • Complete documentation using correct terminology on the daily/weekly notes, and data sheets. Submit all paperwork by required deadlines.
  • Act as a liaison between participant, family, support coordination agency, and employers. Maintain regular communication with the support coordination agency to ensure effective communication regarding client's needs.
  • Adheres to agency policies and procedures.
  • Treats all clients with dignity and respect and supports clients to exercise their rights on a daily basis.

Supervisory Duties: Complete initial and annual training as directed by agency policy and regulatory standards. Attend monthly staff meetings, and additional staff development training as scheduled. Provide support and weekly supervision of staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, Social Work or related field is preferred.
  • Experience working with people diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness.
  • Strong collaborating skills and an ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines; high energy, self-motivated and proactive.

Salary: $59,116 - $68,870
