A Care Navigator helps manage services and make a positive impact on the client’s behavioral healthcare journey. The position plays a crucial role in ensuring clients are connected to the appropriate care coordination, behavioral and/or physical health services within the organization, exploring any barriers that might negatively impact engagement with these services and collaborating with internal teams to promote best outcomes. The Care Navigator may also provide screening, triage, crisis intervention, and referral to supportive services.

This position will provide assessment and care coordination to help people navigate behavioral health care, physical health care, social services, and the other systems they are involved in.

Sinnissippi Centers is looking for a Family Resource Specialist for our Family Advocacy Center (FAC) in Whiteside County as the FAC expands services. This child and adolescent focused position include coordinating services for families involved in the FAC who need additional support in the areas of resources and parent education. The Family Resource Specialist educates families about community resources, connects them to mental health services and teaches parenting skills to help support their families’ needs.

This position would be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations for 4 specialty corporations that are funded by federal Housing and Urban Development (HUD) grants. This position works closely with other members of the business office, residential managers, and other members of the leadership team to support the organization's financial objectives. This position is also responsible for payroll processing for Sinnissippi's 300+ employees.

Sinnissippi Centers is looking to hire a Supervisor for our Youth Community Support Team. Use your leadership skills to help guide one of our growing programs in Whiteside County! A Community Support Team aims to decrease hospitalization and crisis episodes for children with behavioral health concerns and to increase community functioning by attaining recovery goals. This is an intensive service program in which at least 60% of services must be provided in the natural setting. This position would function as the Clinician and Supervisor for a team of 3-4 staff.

Sinnissipppi Centers is looking to hire a full-time clerical staff member in our Sterling office. Our clerical staff greet clients, answer a busy multi-line switchboard, file medical records, monitor paperwork compliance and assist clinical staff with all aspects of excellent service to clients.

Sinnissippi Centers is looking to hire a Crisis Engagement Specialist at our Dixon Route 2 office. The CES shall provide recovery-oriented, person-centered, and trauma informed services; serve as an advocate; and provide information and support for individuals seeking treatment at SCI. This position will work closely with our Crisis Team. The CES shall perform a wide range of tasks to assist individuals who are in the midst of a mental health crisis.

Sinnissippi Centers is looking for a School Based Supervisor to be responsible for the direct supervision of our School Based Clinicians; this includes training, shadowing and providing licensed supervision. This position will also work directly with students and parents assisting them in meeting the mental health needs of their school communities and developing healthy bonding relationships. Services will be provided on location at school settings as well as in office and other locations to meet the demands and needs of our staff.

Sinnissippi is looking for a SUPR Peer Recovery Support Specialist (RSS) who shall provide recovery-oriented, person-centered, and trauma-informed services, advocate; and provide information and support for individuals seeking treatment. The RSS shall perform a wide range of tasks to assist clients (receiving services) in recovery and reclaiming their lives.

Sinnissippi Centers is looking for a passionate and qualified candidate to supervise our Mount Carroll office clinical staff. This position supervises 3-5 clinicians and oversees office operations. In addition, this position carries a caseload and performs client services. Qualified candidates will have behavioral health treatment experience with a variety of diagnoses and ages, as well as 2-3+ years of supervisory experience. Candidates with their LCSW or LCPC are preferred. 

Sinnissippi Centers is looking to add a Crisis Services Clinician to our team. Our Crisis Clinicians meet with individuals experiencing a behavioral health emergency in local facilities and institutions including our offices, emergency rooms, police departments, etc. to complete assessments while focusing on collaboration with consumer support and recovery-oriented structures. This is a home-based position that travels to provide community-based services.

Sinnissippi Centers continues to grow and is seeking to add an additional Maintenance Specialist position to our facilities management program. This position will participate in all physical aspects of maintaining a busy outpatient and residential behavioral health system.
