Sinnissippi Centers seeks to hire a compassionate and eager individual experienced in counseling and case management for adults with serious and persistent mental illness. Our Residential Clinician offers clinical and therapeutic counseling to clients in two of our apartment sites (one 8-person unit and one 12-person unit). Sites are staffed 24-7 with mental health staff. This position is based out of our Sterling and Mt. Carroll apartments. 


Responsibilities

  • Provide counseling and case management services for up to 20 clients
  • Provide individualized and group psychotherapy services to address various issues, including mental health, substance use, and trauma
  • Complete and maintain service documentation according to agency and regulatory standards
  • Use clinical judgment to diagnose, treat clients and make decisions within the range of program services, especially those requiring behavioral health and trauma treatment

Qualifications

  • Master's degree and licensure (LCPC/LCSW) is preferred/Will consider bachelor's candidates with experience.
  • Experience with mental health and co-occurring substance abuse issues
  • A positive attitude and a dedication to helping others 
  • Supervisory experience is preferred 
  • Training in trauma-informed interventions is preferred


Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $51,405 - $59,758 (MHP/Bachelor's level); $59,116 - $68,870 (QMHP/Master's level)
